Alina Gerasimova is a graduate from New York Film Academy (New York Campus). Her favorite credits in film include a lead in a short movie “Time” and a supporting role of a stand up comedian in a TV movie “Half Past the Color Blue”. Her previous stage credits include Anna in “Closer” by Patrick Marber and Jean in “Dead Man’s Cellphone” by Sarah Ruhl. She trained in improvisation at the Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theatre and has performed stand up at Stand Up NY Comedy Club and in the Comedy show Fox and Friendz. As well as acting she studied screenwriting and playwriting at NYFA and has written three short screenplays that eventually were turned into short movies, all of which she starred in.
